Lol! i think your Computer dont read Hacking Tools
So they Read it as a virus

1. How do you run this if it's in the ms/root?
2. Where do you save the corresponding fw that you're trying to downgrade to?
3. If a virus is detected, that means there is some form of virus present. Trust me.

i make a downgrader for psp3K Can SomeOne Take a look at it?
This downgrader is Harmful if you made mistake how you do it.
it touch your Flash0 and change your Version.txt to 5.03
like i did on my psp i change it to 9.99

Chinging your version.txt only changes what the firmware the psp thinks it's running, not the actual firmware.

but if you change the version.txt to maybe 5.00 then you can downgrade to 5.03

it wont work version.txt is to check the version of the game not to downgrade a psp firmware

not that i meant that if you change the version.txt to 5.00 then the psp updater will think that you are running 5.00 and will then let you downgrade to 5.03

ohh i thought the only way to downgrade if you have f0 aceess which is impossible unless you have a pandora battery

i've also been thinking recently of ways to fools the PSP into downrading, but i belive it cannot be done using version.txt, otherwise someone would have pointed it out by now, as reading from the version txt is an enablable part of CFW, i assume they looked at it and found nothing of use, except maybye running 6.20 games on 5.00

i have discovered One! works Great but do not attempt on psp 3k or Go
u need to Memory Stick.
Put version 6.31 on your mem.stick and put 5.03 on other Mem.stick
now Run update 6.31 then Put out your Mem.stick Do not Start yet
Then Put your other Mem.stick with 5.03 update
then Click Start then wait until it finish. Now your Psp is downgrade without a Pandora Battery
