PSP 3000 (LITE): if you like playing ofw games this psp is for you. this psp has a great umd speed and better lighting than 2000. this psp IS NOT HACKABLE EXCEPT FOR THE CHICKENHEN so its hard to get custom firmware on it. it starting firmware is 5.XX. this psp has a built in microphone for Skype but its pretty useless. its price is $170 at any retail store
PSP GO: if you like a ultra media portable device this psp is for you. this psp has a internel memory of 16 GB so you dont have buy memory slicks. this psp can easily be protected because its slides. this psp is slimer, smaller, and more portable than psp 2000 and 3000. this psp DOES NOT HAVE A UMD DRIVE OR REMOVEABLE BATTERY. this psp IS NOT HACKABLE AT ALL CURRENTLY. it starting firmware it's 6.XX. its price is $250 at any retail store (WOW thats a lot of money for a psp).
